OK so here’s the deal with the course reviews.  Any of the courses I play this year (and potentially ones I’ve played in the past that I am intimately familiar), I am going to review the courses.  Depending on the course and my recollection and all that, the length and detail of the reviews will vary.  Occasionally, I will post reviews from a course when a friend or relative played.  I can’t expect them to have as vested an interest in writing up a thorough review, but I have asked them to rate specific areas and give some commentary.  For these instances, you will find an abbreviated review.  As such, here it is:

Course: Richmond Country Club

Location: Richmond, RI

Par: 72

Yards: 6,817

Rating: 121

Slope: 72.1

Architect: Cornish, Silva, Mungeam (1992)

Date of review: April 13, 2018

Player feedback on Richmond:

“Hole layout is fun, challenging and fair” – J.M.

“Layout could be excellent if properly manicured, though this could be due to early season” – J.M.

“I wouldn’t say no to playing here again, but wouldn’t make it a destination either” – J.A.

“Perfect April Friday round for $35. Get everything you want from it and more early in the season” -J.M.
